Comments:   So, the "Rolling with Realitie" event on Saturday 19th March... sold out show! And boy was it intense. First off, Realitie is an extremely talented artist. I felt honoured baring witness to her creativity. Realitie fused her spoken word with movement. Four pieces of poetry performed in such a way as to make you believe each performer had lived that reality. Four pieces, four different types of abuse: child, emotional, sexual and drug. The tears escaped me with no warning and that was just the first act. But I realise a lot of what was said hit nerve after nerve. Each time I recovered from a bout of tears another line was said that made me remember something else id experienced and I'd cry all over again. It was really hard: before we'd even got to half-time I was convinced I wouldn't be able to do my part. Picture someone portraying a drunken girl, and a narrator explaining the childhood that led to that moment. Then someone joining her on stage as the mother and the spoken word is used as their dialogue. Your heart runs out to the young girl trying to tell her mum that her step dad is abusing her and then hardens while you watch the mother "not accept it ". You hear and see her turmoil. You picture the lifestyle she ended up living as a result with the help of the narrator. It was a lot. And there's more but I don't want to say and spoil the show for any of you. It will be coming to south London soon and it is not to be missed. Yes it will be a heavy night but more importantly it will provide the insight that we survivors couldn't package and sell if we tried. A massive thank you to Realitie for shining a light on the topic and doing us proud.

Comments:   REALITIE - Performed for Sutton Youth Services during the October half term's Black History Month Event.
Comments from some of the young people on the night in the audience were - Amazing, Inspiring,
Influential, Wow, 'sick', Real and simply MORE!
Reaktie touched the audience without moving from the stage, and from an organisers perspective I don't think you could hear anyone breathe as her words hit home and the realisation and relation of what she was saying sunk in to the young crowd in attendance.
As an adult, her words resonated with me, and I could feel myself drawn to closing my eyes and 'feeling' the words.

I would 150% recommend anyone to hiring, meeting, speaking to and witnessing the impact of having REALITIE at your event or with working with your groups.
The audience at our event was made up of all kinds of young people from all possible backgrounds and hardships, yet everyone of them was fully engaged in the experience and content in just listening to the powerful words being spoken.

NO-ONE was on their phones, which for me, with over 60 young people in the crowd, speaks volumes!

11 out of 10 - Outstanding. we will be speaking to Realitie for our next event in September.

Thank you for sharing this with Sutton's Youth.

Comments:   I had the pleasure of witnessing Realities performance at 'Open Art Surgery' and was left speechless.. The piece was a raw yet accurate manifestation of the dark truths that lie within domestic abuse and those scars were portrayed through dynamic movement and powerful emotive expression. I found myself uncomfortable, amused, emotionally touched and totally fixated and would encourage anyone who hasn't seen the piece to do so. It is such creative synergy that may be the key to both education, rehabilitation and change. Simply amazing.

Comments:   I attended Open Arts Surgery not sure what I was about to watch or experience, but I left moved and inspired. One specifically touched me and it was performed by Realitie. It was absolutely amazing. I was drawn in from the beginning. There was a mixture of humour and hurt, solemness and wit that all compelled you to stayed tuned. I found myself in this state throughout. The combination of physical theatre and creative writing resulted in an engaging performance, and I can't wait for others to see this piece.

Comments:   I thoroughly enjoyed the show at Fairfields I thought the spoken words were an honest grasp of reality and your articulation was genuine and relate-able to young people. I was captivated by the tonation of your voice, to express the different characters and their emotions. The piece was extremely controversial and heart rending and I would definitely see it again! Both the spoken words and dancers made a perfect recipe for telling the story and interacting with the crowd. I felt this performance was intimate and this made it even more special. The use of ballad added to this emotional effect. All of the elements mentioned above contributed to a amazing show.
Keep setting trends and inspiring!! xx
